CARDIOVASCULAR TRAINING
A central part of any fitness program, the club features 46 state-of-the-art pieces of cardio equipment, ranging from treadmills, elliptical trainers, bikers, Stairmasters to arc trainers. To make your workout more enjoyable, our 26" Flat Screen LCD TV Cardio Theater receivers are installed on all of them. As part of your fitness program, you will learn the proper blend of cardio workout frequency, intensity and duration to maximize results.
STRENGTH TRAINING
The Fitness Center offers a new Nautilus Nitro Plus Circuit, including 11 pieces of equipment including the Seated Lower Back, Overhead Press, Compound Row and the Nitro Pullover. A wide array of Cybex and Hammer Strength equipment, as well as free weights, is also available. To help you get started, trainers will show you the correct use of equipment and the amount of weight, sets, and repetitions you need.
FITNESS CLASSES
Our Personal Trainers conduct a number of supervised classes for adults and youths, ranging from Forever Fit to Fitness Training for Teens.
Abdominals: A Half-hour of intense exercise to strengthen and flatten your abdominal area
Forever Fit: A One-hour class of weight bearing and endurance exercises for ages 50 plus to strengthen muscle, bone and heart. Classes available Monday at 1:15 and Wednesday at 1:00.
Stretching for 50 Plus: Half-hour flexibility exercises to attain more range of motion. Stretch classes available Monday at 12:45, Wednesday at 1:00 and Sunday at 10:30am.
Fitness Training for Kids and Teens: One-hour classes that give youths age-appropriate instruction to increase their endurance and strength, while having fun and learning to perform exercises correctly.
Group Fitness for Teens with Special Needs: One-hour strength training and cardiovascular exercise class for special needs teens ages 12-19.Once a week for eight weeks.
