SWEDISH MASSAGE  This widely recognized form of massage is the base for most massage treatments. Using varied strokes and pressure, this modality is extremely effective in reducing muscle tension, pain and injury while increasing circulation and relaxation. It also reduces headaches, anxiety and chronic pain. Swedish massage can leave you feeling relaxed but energized long after your treatment is over.

HOT STONE THERAPY  The application of heated and non-heated stones have a deep penetrating effect on the muscles. This can be used to prepare the body for deeper work and to bring the client to a state of deep relaxation

MEDICAL MASSAGE  A form of treatment that deals with specific conditions such as work or sports related injuries, auto accident injuries, chronic or acute degenerative conditions, etc.

SPORTS MASSAGE  Specifically adapted to the needs of athletes and the effects of athletic performance on the body. This modality utilizes stretching, contracting and relaxing of specific muscles, and sometimes more vigorous movements. All of these combine to alleviate injury and restore muscle tone and flexibility.

REFLEXOLOGY (ZONE THERAPY)  Organized around a system of points on the hands and feet that are thought to correspond, or "reflex", to all areas of the body. Though the massage is specific to an area, it is intended to affect the whole body.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE  Refers to a number of deep tissue approaches to help release the body of adhesions, scar tissue and chronic muscle tension. The area to be worked on will first be massaged to soften the muscles and warm the tissue. Then different techniques and varying levels of pressure are applied to the problem areas.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE  Uses a variety of bodywork techniques. It relieves the stresses that result from the rapid and profound physical as well as mental changes that occur during pregnancy. This massage is designed to relieve aches in the back, neck, hips, legs and weight bearing joints.

CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY  Involves light touch on the head, hips, base of the spine and ankles to balance cerebral spinal fluids and case the body into self-healing, It is very effective in relieving chronic headaches, lower back, sinus, and TMJ pain.
